Your Questions Answered
Welcome to the Bonnie Quines General FAQs page, which we trust you’ll find helpful. You’ll also find details of specific questions relating to our different products and services on each individual page. And, of course, we can answer any additional questions in salon, over the phone and online.
When should I ideally arrive for my treatment?
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your reservation time in order to settle in and enjoy your treatment without any need for rushing. Our clients come to relax and unwind, therefore we kindly request you switch off your mobile prior to coming into the salon. You’ll also need to fill in a consultation form if it’s your first visit to the salon.
I’m going on holiday soon, what specific treatments would you recommend?
Waxing, nails, pedicures, eyebrow and eyelash tinting are all very popular treatments prior to holidays. LASHUS is the perfect holiday treatment as you don’t need to wear mascara, thus eliminating ‘panda eyes’ around the pool. We recommend having treatment as close to your holiday date as possible. Maybe a day or two before.
What treatments can I have whilst pregnant?
You can have most treatments. However we would recommend that you consult with our therapists. Due to insurance limitations, we can’t carry out beauty treatments and waxing, within the first three months of pregnancy due to certain oils and serums we use. We’d always suggest phoning ahead to check suitable treatments to avoid disappointment.
Can you recommend treatment for stretch marks?
This depends on the colour of the marks which impacts on the type of treatment provided. Usually pink stretch marks are treatable. Silver ones less so. However a session of Radio Frequency Lipofirm can help.
Do you have a lot of men coming in for treatments?
Yes we’ve a number of male clients who come in for a variety of treatments. Men’s facials, massage, and waxing is very popular.
Can I bring my children with me?
We run a ‘No Child Policy’ in the salon. This allows both you and our other clients to enjoy treatments without any distraction, especially if it’s a relaxing spa session. We also have a number of chemicals around the salon and health and safety is naturally one of our prime concerns for you and your children, as you cannot always keep an eye on your child whilst having treatment carried out.
Do you have any special offers or promotions at the moment?
We have a range of exclusive offers, available on a monthly basis, so check out Bonnie Quines website or social media for more information. You can also consult with a member of staff in salon too.
Can I buy gift vouchers for a friend?
Vouchers can be bought in-salon or over the phone. They can be for any value or treatment and are a fantastic way to treat a friend or loved one. We can also send vouchers out to you.
What is your cancellation policy?
We take a small fee for all online bookings. For larger treatments, we’ll require a larger deposit, payable in-salon or over the phone, to secure your reservation. 24 hours notice is required for cancellation, otherwise your booking deposit will be retained and we’ll charge either 50% of the full treatment cost depending on 'notice given or ‘no show’.
