What is PMU?

Permanent make-up, this is the application of permanent make up using a tattoo machine and specialised pigments. This method is beneficial for giving an enhanced or more defined shape to the brows, and lips. PMU treatments require a in depth consultation, the treatment is different for everyone, ensuring that the service we offers meets your aims, in shape, colour, and suits your anatomy.

PMU Brows

The aim for PMU brows is a natural, enhanced brow to define and frame the face, for many reasons brows may be thinner, sparser or you may not feel confident in drawing even shaped brows daily (or are fed up of taking the time). We achieve the most natural results offering a powder brow, which is a natural colour gradient or ombre brow, creating a less stark inner brow than can be achieved by penciling in brows. PMU brows are achieved over 3 appointments, the initial consultation, which is thorough and covers everything like colour choices, thickness, and shape, a patch test will be carried out during the consultation to ensure no allergy to pigment or numbing agents used. The first brow appointment which is the longest appointment, brows are mapped thoroughly and approved before pigment is placed. You are kept comfortable throughout the service and will feel nothing!! We provide aftercare products and instructions on best healing practices of your new brows. We then request you come back 4-8 weeks after the initial appointment to have a top-up service, which allows for colours to be darkened and definition added where needed. After these appointments your brows are good to go for 1.5-2 years, depending on how you care for them.

PMU Lips

Lip blush offers a more enhanced fuller lip, lips naturally lose pigment and appear less full with age, this is due to the pigment in the border of the lips becoming patchy causing lips to look uneven, smaller or shorter, when tattooing pigment is added in these areas which can give a more plump and youthful look to the lips. The process of a lip blush service is tailored to you individually, we advise colours which will work well with your skin tone, the colour choices are extensive as our specialised pigments can be mixed to create bespoke colours for you! Like PMU brows, lip are also achieved over 3 appointments, the initial consultation, which is thorough and covers everything like colour choices, thickness, and shape, a patch test will be carried out during the consultation to ensure no allergy to pigment or numbing agents used.
