It can be quite common for areas to feel tender after a massage, this is due to areas of tension being worked over, which causes a release of lactic acid, which the body naturally takes care of.

During a massage if any areas feel tender you can always ask he therapist to avoid these areas, or lighten the pressure.

We all have body hang ups or areas we don’t like to be touched, please just advise our therapist prior to the massage so the treatment can be adapted.

YES!! As much as massage is super beneficial in relieving muscular aches and pains, and inducing relaxation. Massage is amazing for increasing the functions of the bodies systems and aiding in detoxification.
No. We ask that you remove clothidown to lower underwear. Your therapist wil leve the room whilst you do this, and are comfortably tucked in! During the massage the therapist will drape sheets and towels in ways that protect your modesty.

We advise that directly prior to a massage, that you should not eat as this can make you feel nauseous. Allow time for any food to be digeted before a massage.

Avoiding alcohol and caffeine prior to, and after a massage as these can cause dehydration, and massage is a diuretic treatment.

We recommend increasing water consumption prior to and after a massage, to help replenish the fluid that the body will loose after a massage.

These are all totally normal body responses to being relaxed! It is nothing to be embarrassed about!

Well, this mainly depends on you! Your physial condition, time constraints and budget. Ideally- fortnightly, however monthly would still be beneficial.

These are pre-existing conditions that would prevent the treatment from happening.
