Ok so in easy terms….

Gel polish goes over your natural nail, will add a little strength due to the coats being added and is designed to be removed completely 2-3 weeks later.

Builder Gel is designed to add strength, its thicker and a great way to help your nails grow starting with the length they are. You come back every 3 weeks to have them infilled and your nails continue to grow under the product.

Hard gel or Acrylic- both of these are enhancements to lengthen the nails but depending on the finish your looking for would determine which enhancement would suit you best.

If your looking for a short extension with gel polish colour on top, we would recommend the Hard gel with gel polish.

If your looking to have set of nails that are Ombre/ glittery or have multiple colours and designs we would advise encapsulated acrylic nails.

No they don’t breath, but we always advise cuticle oil to hydrate the cuticle and the full enhancement to prevent cracks. This will nourish not only the nail plate but will keep your manicure looking fresh.

Several reasons including medication, diet or injury and trauma to the nail. Unfortunately it can also be linked to age, as we age our nails can ridge. By booking In for a builder Gel this will cover up any ridges on the nail followed by Gel Polish

Nourish! Nourish! Nourish. Sometimes people do have naturally weakened nails, we can help them grow with product to give strength and help them grow in length however if you don’t have the product removed correctly, this can result in tearing of the nail on the nail plate causing damage. Please seek professional removal.

If you already have weak nails but are looking to apply an at home product, we highly recommend rescue RX which can be found in our salon shop.

Summer time you will see an increase in nail growth, in winter the growth process will likely slow down due to circulation. Winter is also a time where nails are prone to break due to less natural oils being produced from the nail.

Could be several reasons, if your natural nails were manicured and your nails were already in poor condition- for example were naturally peeling already from the free edge then they could potentially chip, however if you find this is the case, upgrade to Builder gel. The other reason is using your nails as tools, so for example- opening a can of juice, opening tins with your nails, picking stickers and cello-tape, using your finger to flush the loo and cleaning with out gloves on…. Go buy the marigolds! Gardening is also another huge factor that will make your nails prone to lifting/chipping.

Acrylic is the traditional way of doing nail enhancements, and in our opinion, you can do so much more design wise than you can with a hard gel. Acrylic is applied with powder and Liquid, beads of product are placed on the nails to sculpt and will dry to harden.

With Hard gel, gives off the same structural finish however is applied with a brush and is set in a UV/LED lamp to cure. There is no product smell from hard gel.

Acrylic is also soaked off and Hard gel is buffed off so please bear this in mind if you decide to remove your enhancements yourself. We would always advise professional removal.

Depending on the experience of the nail technician it can differ however we tend to schedule the following-

Gel polish- 30-45 mins. Builder Gel 45mins-1 hour. Hard Gel- 1 hour to 1 hour 15mins. Acrylic nails- 1-2 hours depending on design.

Please note all of our nail treatments come standard with a gel polish finish, please add on your nail art when booking.

Simple nail art– design such as glitter/stamping/dots or a design on 1 nail each hand such as leopard print/marble/stars. Chrome is also included in this option.

Detailed nail art– is nail art across your nails such as- French design/swirls/marbles

Delux nail art– This is for Letterings, varying designs on each nail or custom choice

Intricate nail art – Intricate Nail Art includes, Characters, 10 different images on each 10 nails, Disney, Harry Potter etc.

Yes! Absolutely, we are more than happy to recreate sets done elsewhere however will never fully copy, and the reason for this is- we may not stock the same products but we can do an alternative. If you have a design in mind, no matter how crazy or aren’t sure what to book, please reach out to us on our social media or by email and we can advise.

Yes! We have an option where you can come in and have a spa pedicure which includes heated booties. If you are looking for a spa pedicure including gel polish there’s the option to book with gel polish included and also an option to book if you need to have old gel polish removed too.

Callus Peel is a luxury, spa foot treatment that removes hard, callused skin leaving your feet feeling soft and revitalised. The treatment is a 4 stage process: Patch, Wrapping, Scraping & Filing and Moisturising. This is ideal if you have a build up of callus on the balls and heels of feet.

Luxury Spa pedicure is done at our pedicure station and involves a soak, scrub, removal of hard skin, foot mask with hot boots and nail shape and massage.

Because we schedule extra time- We dont know what is already on your nails and to ensure a smooth removal we require a little more time.
